I highly recommend it too, though I think the key to realism with it is going to be designing a lot of good shaders for bark and leaves with careful bump and transparency. Haven't had the time to design anything worth showing, but I can see the potential. --

Is Tree Druid avalable for the Mac? Do you think that a tree made in Tree Druid would transfer to a 2D illustration?

It is available for the Mac. I assume that you could render and then use in a 2d image... Aeryk71
