hello everyone! I am trying some new morphs in poser but I got a strange exploding results when I use the dials...do you know what causes this and how fix it??(if it is possible to fix) HELPPPpppp !:)

The other day, I tried to give Cecily a pair of dimples and exploded her cheeks instead! My hand had slipped on the mouse and spun the dial way too far. That's the only way I've ever done it....not to say you haven't discovered a new one ;)

Whatever program you used to make the morph in, you most have move the object while you were working on it. That does causes that to happen. I don't think it can be fixed. You will most likely have to make it again.

The techincal term is "Winding Order" The order the vertex appear in the OBJ file is different betreen the Morph OBJ and the base OBJ. This usually happens if vertexes are added or deleted from the model during the morph creation. Also some nodeling programs will reorder the vertex no matter what you do. ngsmall02.gif

Thanks everyone! Steve I am using lightwave modeler to morph and from it I export in obj format. I suppose I have to redo my morphs then:( But at least, i love to do the job! hehe

there was a thread a day or two ago, a guy asking the best app to make morphs in and a few replys where LW, might be worth hunting that thread down and asking there, i was hoping you'd say cinema so we could fix it easy ;o)..Steve

I had the same problem using Lightwave to make morphs. I get around it now by killing (not deleting) all the polygons (leaving just the points) before exporting. Works fine for me. dAeve
