I got the Mil Dragon from Daz. I converted it to an .obj file just like I do my other poser models for import into bryce. Everytime I try to import the Dragon into Bryce I get an media error. Is the file to big or should I try saving it as some other type of file? Please help.

I get that sometimes.... loading the model into grouper or uvmapper then re-saving should clear up the problem.

I think I heard that it was too big for Bryce to bring in. Was a constistent problem with the maps or just the size. Not sure.

Had the same problem with LE. It has some swapped normals that work in poser but not bryce. UV mapper will fix it.

I had the same problem, but what I did to get it to work is when you export from poser, just use the defaults for exporting. Don't tick or untick anything. However, I am using the poser patch. I then imported into bryce and worked everytime. Hope that helps. ---- Scott.

The millenium dragon has like a million seperate textures? (lol, something like that) Use the Grouper 1.3 utility (take link) to make sure the textures go with the dragon during import into Bryce. That Dragon has just WAY to many textures to reapply. Grouper will also correct the .obj error. I've now imported a 45mb .obj into Bryce, I don't think it has too many issues with size. Agentsmith

Does anyone know if this has been fixed in Poser 5? Truely one of the most annoying Poser4 Pro Pack bugs that never got fixed. Thanks - Dan

Thanks, tried the UVmapper soulution. It worked. I'm going to try grouper. That may correct some other problems I've been haveing. Thanks, for the help.

Had the same problem, Grouper 1.3's "repair" saved the day...
