about 3 hours to put it together and 2 minutes to render it, I kinda like the way it came out

I really like the concept of this! Keep working on it some more. I think there's something missing, it looks empty, maybe something in the background?

Excellent. I agree with joools, though, the composition needs tweaking slightly. The main figures should be more prominent (perhaps posed so the perspective appears to be dynamic?). Right now there is a big empty spot in the lower front of the pic. Move the camera a little and it'll be much more powerful. Marc

If you have a DVD or a really good VCR go get Prophecy - the scenes in there of the battle fields of angels will give you a lot to think about.. then you can bet yer butt the render time will go up. Nice- try randomly placing the pikes and put one or two closer to the camera and lower set in the foreground. It will give it a more dramatic look and help cover the empty spaces in the background.

heya! pretty cool! i dunno, guys, i kinda like the way that shadow is the only thing in the foreground space. it has an interesting shape and i think it holds its own right there. i kind wish everything weren't so lavender, but i guess that's the low-light situtation going on.

It was just a quickie, inspiration hit and I had to do it before the well went dry. It actually gave me ideas for a whole series of pictures, but I cant crank em out as quick as I can imagine them. The low light was used to hide the fact of poorly posed figures (disfigured feet, default textures, and lack of facial expression), it seemed to work well for setting the mood for it tho. Is the jaw on the poser4 nude male hinged? I cant seem to find a dial to open the mouth. The movie Prophecy may have put the original idea in my head, although I don't recall it at the moment, I probably have seen it as I miss very few movies. I have another idea for it so I tweak on it a bit.

heya; the 'open lips' dial opens the mouth. :) hope to see 'em when you're done with the new images!

Tweak ahead =) The idea is very cool, so I'd really like to see more of it. BTW, is the Prophecy the original title on that movie about the second way in heaven (with Christoffer Walken playing one of the angels)? If so, it had another title here in Sweden, but it's absolutly a must see!
