Anybody know how I could add some more vertices to a file in the wings program? Or is it impossible to add? If worse comes to worse, I'm thinking of making a mountain in bryce and exporting it into Wings just to get all the vertices to bend.

you can cut, connect, bevel, or smooth, just kind of depends on your needs there is a wings forum at cgchat.com that's been very helpful to me in learning what wings can do :)

Just select the right mode from the icons at the bottom of the screen or use shortcuts (E for edge, F for face, V for vertice, B for object) and select an area, face, pair of edges/vertices and right click. a menu will appear with all of your options. Conect is one I use a lot, no need to right click, just select a pair of verts/edges and press C. If you go to the Wings page (link above) there are some very useful plugins that add more options! Oh and if you press B select the object and then press S (smooth) It'll subdivide the whole mesh, you can keep some edges hard by selecting them in edge mode, right clicking, selecting hardness>hard then subdividing the mesh. Have fun, this is a great modeller! Baz
