Dear Sir/Madam, I love your program. It is a life saver for doing anything with characters in animation. ( I know you've heard it all before but its worth repeating again). But...... can someone there look a little closer at the way the program imports BVH files? There is so much editing that goes on to get these files to work in Poser it makes it almost not worth the time. The problem is in the following, 1. The file after importing creates excess body motion and is a devil to clean up. I have to import to 3DS Max and go frame by frame to remove the shaking in the x,y,z positions. Using the snap funcion in Life Forms doesn't do the job properly. 2. "Upper neck" takes some of the data from "Head" and even in Life Forms I can not filter this problem out. 3. The same with the hands, the arm "twist" dial is replaced by the hand "Twist" and "Side to Side". 4. the feet have the same problem, the Foot "side to side" dial is partially moved to the Right/left Toe "Side to Side" Please try to take some time to look into this and find out what the translation is doing to these bvh files and how it can be remedied. I understand that xyz is replaced with rotational data but it still is all basic geometry and can be fixed, only if you want to spend the time to do it. I think its worth the time, I hope you feel the same! Loyal Poser user
