Why in Bryce when i'm importing an 3ds object... all the parts of the thing i want to made are there...(ex) a house....

I think Poser stomps on 3DS material info. Doesn't entirely import all of it. Possibly try converting to OBJ format with a program that'll keep seperate object and material info intact?

Yeah... Poser import all of it... but give me just two material info... one for the base ...and one for the rest. In Bryce i have over 40 parts name.

If you have Bryce 5, try exporting it from Bryce as an .obj by opening the Edit Mesh Dialog and hitting Control+D (I think that's the key combo!). Load this .OBJ in Poser (it'll come in as a single object), select the object and hit the Group Tool. In the top pop-up should be all the parts - don't select any, just hit the Spawn Props button, this should seperate all the parts. Now remove the original single object. HTH- Dan
