What was the name of the Kodak/Nikon 14megapixal Full body Digital SLR? Honestly though, A job would be enough for me. Magick Michael aka zhounder

Can't believe I'm "hopping" in here. I used to be of the opinion that I needed the best equipment available. I told myself that for this reason: If I had the best hardware, then any failurre to produce quality products was due to my shortcomings. I wanted to eliminate every factor but myself. These days, as I grow older and a bit more wise, I think I would wish for nothing more than the ability to use what I have and have the time to use it. And to make a few people smile or think. People all over the world are using average equipment and "kicking my ass".

I know what you mean about "equipment envy." As soon as I could afford it I went out and got an RB67 medium format. My work did NOT immediately improve by orders of magnitude. And, since I sort of put photography on the shelf for a couple decades for various reasons, the RB sat in the closet while I did quite well with "consumer" equipment. Now I'm starting to dust it off again. I think it's taken awhile to appreciate how to use it. We should talk 'Chelle and Star into having a Challenge some month using the little disposables. I suspect some folks here will get fantastic results! Alpha- I'd be careful of Rork's deal. Seems OK on the surface, but read the fine print. I'm more from the, "Keep the talking frog because it's cool," school.

I'm admittedly a "high maintenance" woman. My list of wants is way to long to post...heh! But I hope that all of you get your wishes for Christmas...especially those agnostics of the group who believe their wishes are impossible.
I am, therefore I create.......

Ditto, Mich! My wishlist is too long to post. I think I did post a list last year... Maybe I should check if there were things that need to be added to/taken off the list already. ;-) (*

Apparently, I can only take out a few items off that list, and I have loads more to add to that. :-/ Hmmm... oh well. I've been a good girl this year. Promise! :-) (*
