Can anyone recommend a good costume set for a nativity scene? I thought I saw one once....but as it always happens....you only know where it is until you need it :)

The DAZ Costume CD has a bunch of stuff. PoserWorld also has Bible-era costumes for the P4 guy and girl.

I was going to ask a similar question. I want very elaborate outfits for the 3 Wiseman. Diane

There's angel wings at DAZ and enough animals to get started. I'd love to see some Nativity images. If you have Bryce you can do pine trees easy enough, though they don't export to Poser.

Try some of PhilC's stuff too.

Poser World also has greek and (I think) roman stuff which could be made to work if you recombined the outfits. I'm just getting the biblical outfits now, for the same reason. What I could do with is some sources for the architecture so I can knock up an exterior in Amapi, but there's surprisingly little and most searches just bring up pictures from the current Near East with not much building visible.

Poserworld also, aside from the biblical outfits for the adults, has a complete nativity scene for Matt and Maddie: costumes, stage, props.
Mapps had a nice nativity scene (barn, crache, morphing hay) up at his freebie site from last Christmas.

As a matter of historical accuracy, domesticated animals where not kept in barn stables but in actual caves. The whole wooden structure scene found in many Nativity sets this time of year never really existed.

Now this is weird! They have a "Client Site" where the camel can be had for $15! Now that's more like it!Byrdie posted Tue, 09 December 2008 at 2:41 PM

Pappy has a pretty good shepherds outfit here in the marketplace too.
