Michael's clothes never seem to fit, they have a sort of GI Joe action figure type fit, while Victoria's clothes usually fit great. I know the question is naieve, I realize it is difficult to produce the many products for Poser, and I appreicate the the talent/skill/time that go into Poser products. I'd just like to see a closer fit, more clothing, realisatic and maybe some grungy textures for Michael. When I'm doing a scene Vicky usually looks great, but Mike looks like a poor cousin. Mikes, and Vicky's figure textures are great. It is just the clothes that are the problem. Is the problem technical in nature?

I've noticed that the shoulders in some items seem to be sort of big or puffy looking, but I've also noticed that Michael's clothing is getting a lot better than it was when they first started making his stuff. Steve Shanks makes some outstanding Michael clothing for PoserWorld. Anton has some wonderfully fitting clothes for Mike, too. Melanie

I'm a life member of Poserworld and I think his historial clothing is great, but for some reason his cowboys and contemporary clothing looks arkward to me. Understand many people may like that look, I just like/need a more realistc look. Again I want to say there may be a technical reason for it.

I'd like to see anything by Anton, do you have a web address? I looked at the Renerosity merchants, and he was not listed. I did a search under Anton, and got some textures by misc. merchants.

Anton now works for DAZ. His stuff is now listed as DAZ originals. Anton achieved a very good reputation on his own before being hired by DAZ. Examples of Anton's work: Adventurer's Outfits, Olympian Outfits, etc.tasquah posted Thu, 28 November 2002 at 12:15 PM

I wish that the shoulder seams that appear in real, sewn shirts and jackets were more in evidence in Mike's clothing. (I do realize that, as a non-modeler, I may be asking for an impossibility here, but it's due to ignorance of the craft, not ingratitude :))

Went to DAZ and looked up Antons listing of items, they were great, but there were no contemporary clothing by him (except "pop Stars"). DAZ had a Western Fashion product that was more realistic than others I've seen. Michael's shirts and jackets etc, just do not seem to fit the him correctly, and some clothing textures are oversized(design a larger scale) in proportion to Michael's scale. It it a technical problem? Victoria's clothing is much more realistic.

Most of the problems I have with clothes on Michael are the abdomen area. The RDNA items work very well, and also the MWA tank top, shirt, and jeans which fit great on Mike. I haven't got any of Anton's items yet, but I hear they're awesome. But you're right, a lot of the clothes do seem "rushed" I guess is the right word.

RDNA has terrific stuff, but the only contemporary clothing for Michael in their store was an underware set.

The problem as i see it (could be wrong) is we start with a figure in the arms up position, so if you model the shoulder seam on a jacket in the correct position when he puts his arms down its in the wrong position...experimentation will get it in the right place i guess, but then it'll be the wrong place as his arms go up LOL.....this image shows a jacket for vikki trying to get arm seams in the right place...I know what you mean Phily its kinda tech reasons and just learning new tricks on the way (like creases), one problem with mike that i've noticed is if you make it fit the geometry file he pops out in posing, now thats ok in something like the new freebie i just put up coz you can hide stuff but on others you just gotta scale up his clothes to hide things wich is a bummer......Steve

Hi Steve Please understand I think your items are fine work, I have no regrets being a life member, the problem(for me) is not limited to Poserworld, it seems to be a generic problem across the board, that is why I asked the question about it. I didn't mean to point you out inparticular, you were just mentioned(recmmended).

Anton did the Pop Stars, which is contemporary. Melanie

Hey there, Michael has some unique characteristics that make clothing for him more challenging. Mike is big and muscled. Guy clothes are not skin tight like moany women's fashions. All Clothing out there for Mike and Vicki is using the original Daz figure and clothing cr2s as bases to conform. For example, alot of clothes out there use my old cr2s which I created from Daz cr2's. But joints alwatys need to be tweaked to accommodate the geometry. Things to consider are: -People don't know how to adust joint parameters -The meshes are too low res -The groups are cut differently than Mike's in different areas -Poser has a conforming bug where identical center points cause expoding parts at some settings. So the clothing centers need to be moved slightly. These four things are the main causes for conforming distortion. Anton Daz3d Platinum Club
