Subject: Traveler's Mouse, er, Mushroom House

Perfect for our little friends! I got it through the Props club and now it's available in the MP! Anyway, here's a pic I did with it. Hate to tell y'all but I rendered this 27 times before I got it the way I wanted. Sigh.

This little guy sure could use those blink morphs. LOL. Doesn't look like he'll ever be able to fall aslepp. The basket is by Thorne and maybe we could petition to make it available again. Pose is by Ravnheart.

Wow spit! Those look like photographs! The first pic could be a "We were just talking about you yesterday" card And the second one looks like a " It sure is lonely here without you" card! Somebody call HallMark!

Sylvia, I love the sense of life you have brought to the mice in both pictures. Those eyes really sparkle! There is something so cozy and sweet about the lit candle on the nightstand and the postures of the two mice...kind of a "let's tell a secret" kind of atmosphere that goes perfectly with the hidden enchantment of a mouse house in the wood. (And I believe you about the 27 renders. I am still working to get even one picture I like with the sweet house mouse and the mushroom house!) When I was a little girl in Laguna Beach, California, there was a shop called "The Mouse House" that sold dolls' houses for toy mice. I have never forgotten this place, and your picture brings it back to me with a great, sweet clench of the heart. Kimberly Kimberly

The picture is great. I wrote him about camera settings becuse I have trouble with thoes, I haven't been able to get one render done in the house. I just keep bring the furinture in the woods. Please get us some Camera settings to download!!! Thank you Leah

I uploaded these and the server went down so I went to sleep! Thank you everyone! Pokey? You have a gift for captions and picture names! Wow...wish I'd thought of those. LOL They're absolutely perfect! I just used the Dolly camera for this once I got inside the house and rendered from the Dolly camera. All my renders were for poses and lights. But here's a zip with the two camera files (dolly and main) which should get you started. No paths in the file! So don't unzip inside poser.

I will try to get some camera setups done for you guys. The main trick is to scale the camera down using the dials. That will let you get in closer, etc.

I just love the little Mushroom House. :) But for some reason, Trav's camera poses don't work for me? The house and all of the furniture load with everything in the correct place, but when I click on a camera file, the camera just goes shooting off to the ether, instead of being positioned in the house. There isn't a readme in the camera file zip... do I need to scale down the camera or something to make the camera poses work?

ProPack here. Same problem. The scaling is over 3000 and the rotations are in double figures. Did you do them with Poser 5? Weird.

There must be some bug in poser because it scrambled the settings. grrrrr I will see if I can straighten it out. -Trav

I'm using P5, too. Right now I'm doing the same thing as Spit and trying to get my camera to match up with your thumbnails, Trav. :) The Mushroom House is so much fun to play with. The Props Club always has good stuff.
