I've just updated to Vue 4.11 and it's changed my Vue shortcut Icon to read DEMO on it. Anyone else noticed this? It's not life or death I realise - but it's weird & I don't understand why - I've had the full licenced program for over a year now. Anyone know how to get the old one back? I've looked on my Vue main disk & there isn't one there

Hmm,delete the icon on the desktop and create a new shortcut? If everything else is working properly...,well i think that is one of these "bug-fix-bugs" ;-) cheers rollmops.

Right click on the icon and select"rename" and name it anything you want. Had you ever had the demo on your machine at one time? Sounds like there may be a stray reference to it in your registry. If not..beats the heck outta me. I updated and it didn't change my icon. Tom

Me too. My shortcut icon on the desktop is fine but now when I switch different Windows using alt-TAB that small icon for Vue reads DEMO! For me it happened right after the 4.11 update. I'm assuming it's not a serious problem but I'd be interested if there was a solution.

Yep, it is a known problem. It is a slight oversight, and looks to have been left in from the beta testing of the update. Don't worry, there is no functional differance to your working Vue, and I'm sure it will be rectified ASAP :o) Cheers

What a job to get the download to appear! Followed the directions to read to end - but trying either of the two links at the bottom just got me in a rotating cycle of the same pages - wasn't until I clicked the 'items you selected' up near the top that the files showed

Tiswas,This problem has been settled. If you want to get rid of the 'demo' mention, simply download and run the update again.
Sorry for the inconvenience...
Enjoy!
