Playing with Poser 5 - Had only my favorite stand-in figure (LoRezGuy) loaded when I opened the Face Room. Ignored the warning message, and picked a face at random. Applied to figure & went back to Pose Rm. Poser 5 had applied the morphed head to LoRezGuy! Small gap at neck - (may be able to fill by playing with group tool on LoRezGuy, but didn't take time tonight) - I just plugged a morphed Torus from Props for a rolled collar look. Plugged a ball into one (empty) eye socket. Played with materials to change colors of body, head, and eye to make a simulated alien. Saved figure, and noted it only took up 450K, as opposed to Don who takes up over 2-1/2 Meg. Didn't know if anyone else had tried this, but it seems with a bit more work, it would be a good way to make up crowd "extras" to fill the background of scenes. - less memory intensive than using full characters. Face has no morphs or expressions, but the body is fully poseable. Thought it was kind of cool. btw....I don't recall if LoRezGuy is included in P5 or if I copied over the one that came with P4 - Anyone know off-hand?
Very cool! need to look into this..
Yes, he's in P5, leather-guy. All of the content from Poser 4 and Pro Pack is included in Poser 5.
