Our winner, Irene, has chosen the following theme : CREATE A CHRISTMAS SCENE "Well, I think, it would be really nice to create a Christmas-scene. Where do you want to be at Christmas time? Do you like the snow or do you want to be in the sun. It does'nt matter where you are, but everyone must know, that it is christmas. I think, this theme is very suitable for this time in december and I am very anxious to see, what everybody will do with this. Hope you like it." As I'm extremely busy this month, I will not have the time to do an anonymous upload. That's why, exceptionally we will go back for this challenge to the "old way". This means that you have to post your images here IN THIS THREAD. Please do not post images bigger then 800 wide. Challenge starts today, december 3 and will run until December 28 9:00a.m ET (3:00p.m. Paris time. Have fun with this new contest and be numerous to participate:-) Guitta

So a Palmtree with lights and presents, are ok then?

SAMS3D posted Tue, 03 December 2002 at 4:01 AM

This should be fun to watch, have to write this down, not getting any ebots. Thanks Guitta. Sharen

gebe posted Tue, 03 December 2002 at 4:52 AM

No ebots for nobody Sharen:-(. Hope it will be ok soon. Guitta

gebe posted Tue, 03 December 2002 at 5:06 AM

As I have already created my Christmas card for this year, I post it here. Thanks to Sharen for the great Sleigh and the Rocking horse. The Santa Claus is from Arduino and the Huskies from Lyne (I think). Exceptionally i did a postwork on the Santa Claus bearth only, because I found it too slim. No other post. The snow on the shoes and the steps in the snow are terrains

@thomaskrahn I am not sure but entries for the challenge must not be posted earlier..

Lyne posted Wed, 04 December 2002 at 6:58 PM

Beautiful, Guitta.. but don't think the huskies are mine.. as I have never given my husky dogs away for free.. just the poser dog morphs (not wolf).. Lyne

Life Requires Assembly and we all know how THAT goes!

gebe posted Thu, 05 December 2002 at 2:46 AM

As we have axceptionally no anonymous submission, it's OK if an image has been posted somewhere else before. This month... no restrictions:-). Guitta

gebe posted Thu, 05 December 2002 at 2:51 AM

Lyne, thanks for pointing this out for me. I have all your free dog morphs and just love them. I would also love to buy all your beautiful animals, but that's really too expensive for me :-(. I'm having lots of pleasure to see them in other's images. Now, I cannot find out who made the morph and texture for the husky. It was free also and it is not Lannie... Can somebody help me? Thanks again, :-)Guitta

Since I don't believe in voting for oneself, I'll go with ishroom.

ChuckEvans posted Sat, 28 December 2002 at 1:28 PM

I hate voting in public...but voting is better than NOT voting. Shadowind's pic is very good. I love the purple and yellow in it. I can absolutely see it on a Christmas card. But I liked the one with the deer in it by Thomaskrahn. It was so close, I let my wife view each of them. And she helped break the tie. So, my vote is for Thomaskrahn. AND what a hard choice it was!

Irish posted Sat, 28 December 2002 at 1:39 PM

All the entries are exceptionally beautiful but my vote goes to Shadowind's delightful Christmas Card entry which is so gorgeous I just have to give it #1 spot!!! :)

Shadowin gets my vote. I love the atmosphere in this scene.

YL posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 6:56 AM

The picture of ShadowWind is very pretty and beautiful, like a christmas card. But it has too much postwork for me. That's why my choice is for Sackrat, who's scene is also very nice. ;=)
