Subject: how do i make glass?

how do i make a primitive look like glass? what are the dial settings? transparency? thanks

In Poser 4, you adjust the prop's material settings (particularly transparency, falloff, highlight size and colour, and reflection-mapping), until you get the look you desire.

In Poser 5, you can also add ray-traced reflection and refraction shaders for more realistic glass.

Get a really hot fire and some fairly pure sand....don't forget to wear gloves..... Scarab

you can do it like this too.....load object, go to material editor, click your object color and change to black, then click your hightlight color to yellow (for example), and your reflective color to yellow, and then change your ambient color to red (just for example), then set your Tranparency min to 100, set Transparency max to 5 and set your Falloff to 10, and render. Or you can set your Transparency min and max to 85 and leave your falloff alone and see what happens. Sharen

example with the colors said above, but the Tranparency max and min set to 89% and leave fallout alone. Sharen
