It snowed here near Philadelphia Wednesday and of course I got the flu. I went to the Dr this morning and I was able to get these. Not the shots I was hoping for but at least I got some before it melts! It took everything out of me and I came home and slept all day. Now I have the energy to post. Magick Michael aka zhounder

Halfway between the image above and the Train Station I posted a little while back is the Grist Mill in Glen Mills. This building was built in the early 1700's and is now a home. Through the trees on the right you can barely see the barn where I got my first kiss 30 some years ago. Magick Michael aka zhounder

I took these at about 9:45-10am. I wanted to catch the light a little earlier but I was stuck in the Dr's office. I will go back to my Chiken Noodle Soup now... Magick Michael aka zhounder

the grist mill picture is darn near a perfect seasonal image. I can see this one on Christmas cards.... nice shot!

Oooooh, nice! The second one is a killer. :-) Get well soon, Michael. (I'm down with colds and asthma myself.) sigh sick.gif (*

no. 1 is very clever. would you mind sharing make and length of lens used? the red lens flare interacting with the tree gives a very intersting effect.

If it makes you feel better you could stare at the pict and remember the first kiss. At least it's a building with some history. Pretty special if you ask me that you can see it if you want and take a stroll down memory lane whenever you want. I envy you! Bsteph

The mill looks great, Zhounder. Nice pic. So, first kiss...30 years ago...hmmm...that make you about 38 years old?

zhounder posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 4:35 PM

OK the kiss was 30 SOME years ago, so that makes me 41. As fro what lens I used, well, I am a semi poor man so i only have a Digital prosumer camera the Sony DSC F707. The lens is a fixed Carl Zeiss zoom lens. I am not sure what zoom I was using. I know that I was at F6.3 with an exposure of about 1/30. Magick Michael
