Just thought I'd post a glimpse of something I've been working on lately. I wish I had more time to devote to this because I really like how it's coming along. Modelled in Carrara 1.1 after an oak roll-top I've had for about 20 years. So far there are eight drawers in the bottom, plus two writing trays. Eventually, there will be 12 more drawers in the top, all fully functional. (right now, just the drawer fronts are up there). Still have to model the rest of the drawers, and some hardware (hinges for the wings, and a lock). Texturing is not complete on this image, but the drawer fronts and desktop look like I want them. Wasn't sure if anybody would be interested in this, but it's my first model of this kind of detail, and I thought I might give something back to the community, if anybody wants it. I'll probably end up providing a seperate version of it just for Bryce, because my drawers won't stay grouped when I import the obj. (that sounds kinda sick, huh?)
