The ship I used in the peter pan scene came from B.J West at 3D total. It's a 3ds model from the special subscriber meshes section. You can sign up at the bottom of the page. You get a once a month newsletter that isn't obnoxious and they don't sell your name. He's got a lot of stuff in the freestuff section as well. Everything free on the site is non-commercial only.Erlik posted Sun, 08 December 2002 at 6:54 PM

For question 3, you can look at my October Challenge entry "Rapids" for that. I created a sphere and used one of the many cloud presets. Then I multireplicated about 40 of them, and use the 3d scatter to randomly change size and location. After that was done, I arranged them around the rapids till they looked fairly real like spray and mist. If you want shrouded spray, do the same thing but add a second set of spheres low to the bottom with the "star map" preset material or something like that to give the impression of water droplets. Tweek materials as required.mboncher posted Mon, 09 December 2002 at 6:35 PM

Follow the link. This was originally an animation and there are elements that don't translate to bryce. The triangle in the foreground is the animated bow wake. The wall kind of thing to starboard is a cloud animation. The flags were designed to flap and need to be relocated to the masts in this export. I'd pull everything into an empty bryce scene, delete, and replace the textures with bryce then save by itself. If you hold down the control button while you mouse click Bryce gives you a list of all the objects in the way to choose from instead of just the top one. This is extremely useful for things like the glass in the captains cabin under the wood lattice. You can also choose and manipulate individual elements in grouped objects, even bouleans using control.
