It's really not a contest, because I can't offer any sort of prize. But if you guys have the time, I'd like to see a couple paragraphs based on this image that my wife and I did together. I think it'd be neat to see what y'all come up with. -SpectreOfDesire

I know this is going to sound stupid (but it won't be a first for me) but what is in her hands??? My computer, for some reason, makes some graphics so dark that I can't see much in the way of detail when there's lots of shadowing. Very interesting graphic. It will be fun to see what ideas people come up with. Good challenge. :)

She doesn't have anything in her hands. ;) She's got claws, and the one hand is partially outstretched. :)

dialyn posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:07 PM

There isn't something behind her??? Maybe she's not holding it, but there looks like there is something on the right hand side. Man, I need to get a new monitor. :(

She could use a manicure. ;)

CrashOfDesire posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:09 PM

Nope. Just her tail on the left. ;)

dialyn posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:11 PM

Oh...her tail. I'm sorry, I wasn't expect her to have a tail. My bad.

CrashOfDesire posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:13 PM

hehehe S'ok. But she's certainly not human. grin

dialyn posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:14 PM

I'm gathering that. She does have a tale to tell, doesn't she. ;)

CrashOfDesire posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:19 PM

Indeed. Hence this thread. I wanna see what people think her tale might be. G

First thought: The full moon definitely inspires visions of werewolves, but her anatomy is more reminiscent of "Species" a-la Natasha Henstridge. So, were-aliens?

I thought I'd give it a shot with a Brian (see link), and here is my 50 word take on it. We tell our children to go to sleep, there are no such things as monsters. We say that it is naught but shadows on the wall, cast there by trees in the moonlight. Please, go to sleep. There are no monsters at all to fear. Oh, that it were true. jon

Now that makes the challenge manageable. :) Good idea! I like those Brians. You did a good job. It's almost poetry in itself.

I'd say... 200 words or less. And I like that one, Jon. Good one. :)

Steph hated this every month. She always felt cranky, irritable. Then there were the urges, the irresistible cravings. There would always be chocolate. But now she wanted richer food to sate her hunger and slake the alien thirst. Hormones flowed; her change came. The full moon rose time to feed. jon-Thanks for introducing me to Brians. This is my first attempt.
