I never did see a reptile with breasts before... amusing thought... G
FyreSpiryt posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 6:07 AM
Yes, in Poserland, everybody has breasts. Even Mike. Especially Mike.
sparrowheart posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 6:17 AM
I kind of have to echo Valandar on this one. "Do... WHAT?!?!?!?!?" And...ummm...why??
ookami posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 6:27 AM
While anatomically accurate... reptiles have no breast since only mammals nurse their young.... Keep this in mine... ever see a bipedal repitile with wings?
Dragorian posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 7:00 AM
yeah i know but it whod look awsome cant some one help
hauksdottir posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 8:30 AM
bipedal reptiles with wings? Sure. The quadripedal ones are the fantastical beasts. The sphinx usually has breasts. There are nagas with breasts, too. However, breasts on a baby hatchie just make me want to edge away. I'd suggest taking a naga (snake woman with breasts) and adding wings if you really want a sexy flying reptile. There are various wing props available for free or sale which would do the job neatly. Dacort has the best snake woman I've seen, so you might check his site. Carolly

Um, are we really discussing how unrealistic it would be to have dragons with breasts?
Farside posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 11:43 AM
unrealistic??? how many dragons have you ever seen to know what's realistic & what are you smoking? :)
Karma posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 11:56 AM
uhh, if you really want a dragon female.. there is a dragon female set for victoria, think it was called dragoness on runtime dna, just add some wing props..
Dragorian posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 11:59 AM
tnx
Chailynne posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 12:40 PM
um... Dragonessa is a brilliant older lady texture by Syyd based on pictures of her mom. Don't think I've seen any dragon with breasts but there are other furries here in freestuff and PhilC has a few furries at his site for sale.
Karma posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 12:55 PM
Chailynne, Dragoness, not dragonessa. Dragonessa is a female character with the long dress setup. Dragoness is an actual reptile/dragon texture for victoria with face/body morphs.
bijouchat posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 1:04 PM
probably putting wings on a snake bodied dacort figure is the most realistic way to go... I'd still not think of her as a dragon, though. I'd think something along the lines of a harpy or some other mythical female beastie. but still... I prefer to think of dragons in a traditional way. Dragons aren't mammals. They are fantasy, but still not mammals. I always thought the BIIIG dragons were the female ones... or am I mistaken?
bijouchat posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 1:18 PM
bipedal reptile with wings... sure they existed once in real life... in the Museum of Natural History in the dinosaur section you can see some. They had a few skeletons of flying bipedal reptiles. Well, gliding ones anyway. No, they didn't have breasts, either. g still chuckling at the idea of a dragon with breasts. Oh ok, I'll obey the prime directive and stop.

Teehee, I think it's a funny idea - sure would look great. I'd give it a try, but I do not own the AdultHatchling but the MilDragon. Hehe, Magnets here I come...

hahaha, yeah I have the MilDragon too. It would probably work on it pretty well. But what would you do for nipples? I guess I should look closer at the mesh. Its very humanoid-looking in a lot of ways. oh gads, I can't believe I'm talking about breasts on a lizard. lol
Lyrra posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 3:07 PM
there are many furries (herps actually) who draw dragons and other lizards with breasts. Personally I don't get it - but I prefer mammals. I think it would be possible for someone to make a morph for those figures, either using magnets or a modeling program. Dragorian, if you want to try for yourself go read Traveler's excellent Magnet Morph tutorials at Morphworld 3.0 Good Luck! Lyrra

heyas; you can't say dinosaurs didn't have breasts, because those (being soft tissues) would not have been petrified. so you dunno! :) the answer is: yes, someone could maek breast morphs for those dragons. the actual possibility of that happening is not very high, though. but you never know. i mean, hey, somebody made breasts for ragbash the troll, if you can believe that. :)
bijouchat posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 5:03 PM
uhm, considering the dinosaurs weren't placental mammals (that much is for certain, they were reptiles and usually laid eggs), I'm pretty sure they didn't have mammary glands too ;-) but you're right... I'd be happy to bet they didn't have breasts though, and probably be right... g Ragbash with breasts... oh, I can see there being a female troll with breasts, trolls look mammalian enough. g I think anyway!

(took a while to find a sample pic that wasn't nude)
I don't really see the appeal, either, but to each his/her/its own. For the record, we aren't lizards, despite appearances to the contrary.
bijouchat posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 5:30 PM
oh, ok. I agree, ~you~ aren't a lizard. You're a human being. I'm called a cat by my darling boyfriend too but I'm not one... lol And sure, whatever is written in fiction is fine... but I don't believe in fiction as truth and am a traditionalist when it comes to dragons in artwork. Not saying that furries aren't fun though... to each his own. Not my thang. I was surprised to see anyone wanting a breast morph for a dragon, but I can see why from the pic if its a furry they want to make. But my favourite Japanese scrolls with dragons... those are definitely based on lizards and look like something crossed between a snake and a lizard. Definitely a reptile, and female reptiles do not have breasts. Komodo dragons (one of the only actual animals that is called a dragon on this planet) are big lizards last time I checked. 'scuse me while I go do the real life thang ...
Jim Burton posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 9:40 PM
Actually, if you think about it, in the unlikely event Dragons had breasts they would possably be on the other end anyway, like teats on a cow/horse/dog/cat. ;-)

Oh, you're welcome. No problem at all. Something my sister brought up: how big is a clutch of dragon eggs, anyway? I mean, how many breasts are we talking? "Hey, if she's a wolf, she'll have three rows of breasts. ... I'm not sure how to feel about that."
Dragorian posted Tue, 18 February 2003 at 12:04 AM
