Subject: Brice on fire

I've done this.. I think that a good looking fire could be useful . So now.. should I make a tut of it or put the fire item in the freebies place?. Oh it's a 2D fire paint on photoshop and imported in bryce on a 2D plan with an alpha map... the sphere is only to show how the light interact with other objects.

That's pretty basic, so it wouldn't take much to mak a tut. Plus posting it as a freebee is cool to. Great visual effect!

Aye, but volumetric flames are much easier to do, and then you won't run into the resolution problem we're seeing on your image. But, I think it looks great other than being a bit grainy, keep it up!
