I know ILM has lots of proprietary software. One of them is ISculpt. Does anyone out there have ANY idea what that software is based on? Withe the Jurassic Park 3 DVD they show lots of good behind the scenes stuff, and the models look incredible. Likie they were molded somehow. Anyway, just curious...

well its difrent depending on the task but from what i know alot of models are scanned and then cleaned up ! one cool thing about how ilm does alot of there models is that for the bump map of there characters they just scan the maquette giving you perfect texture to create the color maps over
