I'm working on a series of 5 amazones. The first of them is Lunatica (seen above). The second would be Jayemdae. The base shape of both characters is finished, the next step is to make the texture-maps and the needed prop-stuff. Thanks to Traveler and Roshigoth to give me the right to use/post their fine morphs with the lunatica-character. Any suggestions which stuff a amazone of the 2040 century needed. For the next 5 weeks will post each week one of them. Comments and ideas welcome (also for the names of the other 3). SHARKEY

If you are going for realism, leather armor similar to the Roman soldiers would be good but I have a feeling you are going for fantasy. I'm sure it will end up as a great character like the elfs.

An Amazon in 2040... um..I would say cuff weapons, an expanding pole that goes from 1 ft. to 6 ft. Solara for a name Marge

Solara sounds good. It's one of the characters in a swiss musical named spacedream. SHARKEY

Weapons for 2040? Hmmm, think Babylon 5 - hand-held blasters or those wonderful telescoping staffs used by the Anla-shok (sp). Or you could go for a retro look, sword/guns and stuff like that. Paul

I hate refering to a merchandizing maniac (albeit a very successful one) like Todd McFarlane, but his female action figures have gobs of prop stuff and a wonderful source of inspiration. McFarlane does the Spawn comic book series and Spawn action figure line of toys, a terrible addiction I have just recently overcome. You could start at www.spawn.com. --ratta
