I am norwegian, and live with my wife and 3 boys in Hjørungavåg Norway. A very small "town" on an island 25 minutes outside of Ålesund.
I lived most my my life in the USA (2nd grade and on until 2 years ago when we moved here).
I have worked with computers most of my life. I built my first one from a Heath kit (bag of chips needing to be soldered in place) in 1978. I have contributed a number of programming projects begining with writing doors (extension and control programs) for several BBS programs. Prior to moving to Norway, I worked the previous 10+ years at Microsoft the last several on the Device Driver Kit.
I got in to 3d because I wanted to make better things for Civ3 (Civilization 3), a turn based strategy game. I had dabbled in it before (using Lightwave back on an Amiga), playing with Vista landscapes and so on... but it was Bryce 5 which really got me going on it.
Most of my models posted here are modeled in Cinema 4d. Some are modeled in Lightwave (great modeler). But it was going to cost me about as much to get a replacement dongle (lost in move to Norway), so instead I bought C4D off of a friend. I LOATH Newtek's copy protection scheme. I have also modeled in a number of other applications (Truespace 4.3 was nice).
Most of the images in my gallery are rendered in Bryce. Bryce remains my favorite 3d app.

A model based on the Interpol, international police agency building in Lyon, France. It was modeled and textured entirely in Bryce. The only exception is the logo which was created in Photoshop.
