A life steeped in grand architecture.
Well I was born in the City of Cambridge more years ago than I will confess to. I grew up surrounded by grand buildings, took it all for granted, except when I visited other places and found them somewhat 'bare'. Twenty-two years ago I and my family left Cambrige and 'defected' to Oxford - heh - at least I can't lose in the boat race :)
The surroundings seeped into me and made for an interest in how buildings were put together - however none of this was really know to me on a concious level until I began to model. Originally that modeling was related to Games Workdshop games (my kids have a lot to answer for) in the Warhammer Universe. Over the years it transformed to 3D and became an even more expensive hobby. Oh, us boys and our toys!
By training I was first a scientist and technologist, then involved in the commercial world, and now due to health issues I move on once more.
I think this may be the most enjoyable re-invention of all though :)!
