Thank you for visiting my Gallery and any comments or critiques are welcome.

I started this adventure in March of 2008 with a desire to realize in images some of my writing that mainly focused on cause and affect of how changes to events in history, technology etc would affect the development of the world around us. 3D art has also increased my interest in mathematics - and how the physics of light and form have been modeled on the computer.
Tools: Bryce, DAZ 3D Studio, Hexagon, GIMP and UVMapperPro. I have been looking at options to create normal maps and to bake AO into the textures.
On Comments:
Thank you to all who have left comments on my images, favoured my images and myself as an artist and sent me friend invites. A special thank you for those that have left comments about what they do not like and what I may do to improve my images. As I am self taught these comments help me improve my work.
I do not have an insightful comment for every work of art I view that often a Hi I was here and appreciated what you have done is of distinct value.
Favorite Artist: Artist that I like the work that they do for a multitude of reasons. It does not mean I will comment on everything they release or even like everything they release. It does mean that I want to be able to look at every thing they release!
3D Art: What must the artist put into an image to claim it as their own instead of the reshuffling of the work of others? This question I find very relevant when considering some of the excellent work that is available as 'props'. These questions have driven me to learn how to work with textures and create/change models so that I can endeavour to put something of my own creation into the images IÂ publish.
Thanks again

Splinter Assult Rifle, Oct 3rd 2008 by EWS aka DBRv6 OBJ file with Texture ===================================================== Splinter Assult Rifle The Splinter Assult Rifle is a GAUSS weapon. The inspiration came from several sources. The research being done at the CERN with the collider which reminded me of seeing expermintal GAUSS designs. The weapon technology behind Metal Storm (company of the same name) and the new XM25. GAUSS is named after Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss german mathematician and scientist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Friedrich_Gauss A simple setup that demonstrates the princible of a GUASS gun and how it works.http://scitoys.com/scitoys/scitoys/magnets/gauss.html CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research known as CERN which many might be more familiar with the Hadron Collider that's been in the news. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CERN XM25 Individual Airburst Weapon System is a new weapon being tested for the US Armed Forces that brings computers to the assult rifle in a way that a great many that have read and written about Cyberpunk have been expecting for some time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM25_Individual_Airburst_Weapon_SystemThanks to Questor and the Bear and to those at the Dystopia forms for helping me learn to refine my models and learn about modeling guns. All mistakes are mine. Modeled in Hexagon 2 Texture Map created with UVMapperPro and GIMP.Extract with Winrar.
