Product Notes

The AC Armored Car 1 (Air Cushion Vehicle) was done in Poser for the fun of it. It should render as rather dirty in Poser. On the other hand, the resulting camo pattern looks rather neat. The Armored Car is a patterned after vehicles described by David Drake, author of the "Hammer's Slammers" novels. The Armored Cars in the Slammers novels have tribarrel powerguns that fire bolts of plasma as fast and straight as light to reach out and touch opponents. Plasma weapons can take out satellites and ships, making aircraft and navies obsolete. The tribarrel guns are space-age plasma gatlings, with revolving barrels, holographic magnification sites and able to chew up most anything in line-of-sight. The 'cars are are faster than tanks, can lift themselves up to a yard above ground and can cross open water if they keep moving fast. The armor is thin to keep the weight light. The 'car crews depend on their sensors, speed, hit-and-run and their tribarrel firepower to survive in the battlefield. The driver's hatch opens. The tribarrels swivel and elevate and the barrel assemblies rotate, all using Poser parameters dials. Renderosity.com hs at least 4 different muzzle flashes.Crew figures are available on Renderosity.com or can be made using Poser. The model is simple and low-poly for quick rendering.
