It renders rather dirty in Poser.The SP Autogyro is designed along the genre of 1971s's "Steampunk" vessels. It is minimalist, mobile and definitely steam-powered. It has an overhead rotor, but the small steam turbine hub provides just enough power for liftoff and vertical landing. Main lift is provided by the forward motion supplied by the powerful rotary steam engine driving the pusher propeller.The rotary steam engine rotates "cylinders and all" to turn the prop. The spinning cylinder block and prop make for interesting animations. The outer "Distributer" does not move. The propeller is actually two propellers "parented" to give options for appearance. The rotary "cylinder block" and "Distributer" can be made invisible using Poser "Properties" pallet "Visible" option, leaving one simple two-blade prop to more closely fit the "Steampunk" look.The craft is armed with Colt's steam-powered machine gun with plenty of swing and elevation movement to engage hostile targets. The blue ball and gun barrel elevate. The black-and-silver arm it hangs on allows swiveling.
