These shaders are advanced ambient occlusion shaders designed for professional illustrators.DAZ Studio required version is 4.0How to use the shaders:- either without light or with light - if used with light you need to set a Indirect Light Cam- with light the color must not be 100 percent pure white, also the light color determines the occlusion effect and amount advantages are fast render timescan be used without light and without indirect light camera setupsIncluded is also the DAZ Shader Template if you want to create your own shaders, also the rendered shaders for referenceFree under the Creative Commons Attribution License

Hi marciushess To use the shaders do this: Open Daz studio Main menu click Window Click Tabs Click Shader Mixer In the Shader Mixer above the gray square click on File Click Open Shader Navigate to one of the AO Shaders depending where you installed them and open Next, select an object in your scene then Main menu again, Tabs, click Surfaces In the Surfaces tab there should be the name of your object, expand it with the little arrow on the left of the object name Now, depending how many shading networks are attached to your object, select it by clicking on it Now go back to the Shader Mixer and at the bottom right click on Apply Now repeat this with all the other shader networks of your object You can use any shader you like Next: As mentioned, you don't need any additional lights in the scene. Just render as is with default camera. If you want to render with lights, you need to create a Indirect Light Camera. To do this, go back to the Shader Mixer, click on File in the Shader Mixer (not File in main menu), click on New Shader you see a small dialog box click the drop down box and change from Material to Camera and click accept In the empty field to your right you click with right mouse button Click Insert Brick... Click in this order Bricks default, Roots, Lights, Indirect Light (Camera) Then bottom right of Shader Mixer click Create Now your scene is set up to render with global illumination It will take longer to render with Global Illumination. Drop me a line if something I can help Thanks for downloading Have fun

I think it's a great idea, but sorry my ignorance, how I use this .dbm files. In normal shaders directory doesn't work. Again, sorry for my ignorance, but how I use them?
