Hello, my name is John. I'm a graduate of several Level 2 (Advanced) courses at my local community College for CAD technical illustration, and 3D modeling for graphic design and 3d printing. I'm also interested in becoming a certified Autodesk 3dsmax instructor, and have been studying 3D modeling for several years. My primary focus and interest is in exploring digital art through parametric and generative 3D modeling, geometric design, and mathematical aesthetic.
I'm passionate about 3D modeling, mesh topology, and CAD. In particular, techniques and workflow related to the creation of three-dimensional objects in virtual space, for virtual design or 3D print. I consider 3d modeling an art form, and believe technique is as important as aesthetic for producing quality models that are widely compatible, and useful for nearly any computer graphics purpose.
I hope you enjoy viewing my gallery, and using my models, and please do not hesitate to contact me to chat about design, 3D modeling, or just drop a note to say hi.

A highly detailed, but relatively simple, leather tufted hydrolic foot stool, offering a comfortable adornment to your arch/viz or character scenes. The model is available as a native 3dsmax 2012 scene file (.max), and should load without problems in 3dsmax 2012 or higher. It comes complete with COLOR and BUMP maps for the leather tufted SEAT, and several distinct material groups for the other parts, like the base, handle, and wheels. Each part of the object is carefully UV unwrapped to provide minimal distortion in the textures. There are no textures for the metal or plastic parts of the stool, but they ARE UV mapped if you wanted to make your own, but simple metal and plastic procedural materials work fine, and are recommended. You are free to use or modify this object as you see fit, for use in your scenes as a scene filler or character prop, or any other type of situation where you may need a quality furniture item to render. This model can be used for both commercial and non commercial renders. You may not, however, resell this object, or any derivative of it; individually or as part of a package/set.
