Hello, my name is John. I'm a graduate of several Level 2 (Advanced) courses at my local community College for CAD technical illustration, and 3D modeling for graphic design and 3d printing. I'm also interested in becoming a certified Autodesk 3dsmax instructor, and have been studying 3D modeling for several years. My primary focus and interest is in exploring digital art through parametric and generative 3D modeling, geometric design, and mathematical aesthetic.
I'm passionate about 3D modeling, mesh topology, and CAD. In particular, techniques and workflow related to the creation of three-dimensional objects in virtual space, for virtual design or 3D print. I consider 3d modeling an art form, and believe technique is as important as aesthetic for producing quality models that are widely compatible, and useful for nearly any computer graphics purpose.
I hope you enjoy viewing my gallery, and using my models, and please do not hesitate to contact me to chat about design, 3D modeling, or just drop a note to say hi.

This detailed, garden arbor bench is available in native 3dsmax scene file format, and is compatible with 3dsmax 2012 or higher. This object comes complete with realistic, high detail texture maps for the color/diffuse and bump material channels. There are several sub-object material zones to this model, which can be accessed individually in your material editor, if needed. The model consists of 19,378 polygons, and 19,292 verts. The object is 99.9% quad polygons, with a mere 12 triangles. Geometry is well optimized, but also holds up under extreme close-up rendering, but can accept further subdivision if you find a need to increase resolution. Each texture map is provided in maximum quality JPG format, with resolution of 2048x2048 pixels, and are suitable for close-up rendering. You may need to tweak or adjust the power of the bump maps, depending on your render engine of choice, to get the optimum results for rendering. The modifier stack has been collapsed for compatibility. You are free to use or modify this object to fit your scenes. Please read the readme.txt carefully for further usage details or limitations.
