This is a chair that was made by request, specifically for the Valentine's Day holiday, but can be used anytime, in any scene. I call it the Sweet-Heart Chair (for obvious reasons), and was designed as a comfortable papasan-style lounge chair. It's design was actually inspired by the Danish highback Lobster Chair by Lund & Paarmann, and classic Eames Lounge Chair by the Herman Miller furniture company. I also designed a heart-shaped footstool to accompany it (ala the Eames chair), which can be loaded into the scene independantly. The chair object is currently comprised of two sub-components; the cushion and the wooden base, and weighs a modest 15,200 total polygons, all quads. The footstool contains 2,720 polygons total, again all quads. There are no triangles or ngons in these models. ***OBJ USERS, please refer to the instructions below for specific direction on how to load these objects into your scenes. Both models have been carefully UVunwrapped, and come complete with detailed texture maps for all parts. There is a color, specular, and bump map for each object. I have also provided two alternative color textures for the cushion components of each object, which can be used interchangeably. The specular and bump maps do not need to be changed, and work with all 3 color maps just the same. The textures are high resolution (2048x2048), and suitable for close-up rendering.*All preview renders were made with the Octane render engine, using the same maps provided. You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit for your own projects or scenes. As with all my freebies, this model can be used for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may NOT, however, resell or redistribute these models or textures, or any derivative of them; individually, or as part of a package/set.*** OBJ USERS: There are 3 different OBJ files for each model. You will notice that two of the three OBJ files are labeled for specific applications (Poser and Blender). POSER USERS: The OBJ with (poser) suffix was exported with a scale conversion that will allow the object to load with appropriate scaling into Poser 9 and above, and Daz Studio 4 and above. To import this file into Poser, please BE SURE to DE-select all the check box options in the OBJ Import Options dialogue box. DESELECT the "Centered", "Place On Floor", "Percent of Standard Figure Size", etc. so that no options are checked. This will import the objects exactly as intended into the scene, with proper scaling. DAZ STUDIO users: Select "File/Import", then navigate to the folder on your hard drive that contains the models in this pack. Choose the "sweetheart_chair(poser).obj" or "sweetheart_stool(poser).obj". In the Import Options dialogue box, pick the Poser (1unit=8ft) option in the FROM dropdown list. Be sure all other options are checked, and click "Accept". BLENDER USERS: Select the "sweetheart_chair(blender).obj". All other software packages should import the standard "sweetheart_chair.obj" without specific suffix.
