Hello, my name is John. I'm a graduate of several Level 2 (Advanced) courses at my local community College for CAD technical illustration, and 3D modeling for graphic design and 3d printing. I'm also interested in becoming a certified Autodesk 3dsmax instructor, and have been studying 3D modeling for several years. My primary focus and interest is in exploring digital art through parametric and generative 3D modeling, geometric design, and mathematical aesthetic.
I'm passionate about 3D modeling, mesh topology, and CAD. In particular, techniques and workflow related to the creation of three-dimensional objects in virtual space, for virtual design or 3D print. I consider 3d modeling an art form, and believe technique is as important as aesthetic for producing quality models that are widely compatible, and useful for nearly any computer graphics purpose.
I hope you enjoy viewing my gallery, and using my models, and please do not hesitate to contact me to chat about design, 3D modeling, or just drop a note to say hi.

The standard "white" plastic chair, usually found on porches and patios around the world, but can also be used for indoor decor. This object is built entirely of quad polygons, and consists of exactly 24,612 polys, and 24,414 verts. This model is available in 3dsmax 2012 scene file format, and also contains a hidden layer, with low-poly base model. This base model is very light, and contains no detail modeling. You are free to modify and customize the base model to create your own personalized chair. The model is one manifold, and has been UV unwrapped. However, no textures accompany the model, as any seamless procedural, or tile-able texture, should work on this object just fine. I recommend using just a standard plastic material for the best results, and most accurate representation.*All preview renders were made with the Octane render engine, using only a simple plastic shader. You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit for your own projects or scenes. As with all my freebies, this model can be used for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may NOT, however, resell or redistribute these models or textures, or any derivative of them; individually, or as part of a package/set.
