I post a sermon and various other things on a weekly basis there. I am a legally ordained reverend church dude in the Church of Civilization, which I designed myself. Ordination through the Universal Life Church.

Hexcity is designed to provide an outdoor urban background for your artwork. It is arranged in hexagonal blocks instead of rectangular blocks to shorten line of sight so you don't have roads that just end after a block or two.
It contains 6 half hexes and one extra large hex, and a large section of city with it all put together. You can put the hex piece with other blocks or you can fill in the edges with individual hexes. Some of the individual hex blocs were included in Hex City Dark Alleys and so are not included in this pack.
This is Hex City Prison. You need to set the bump maps for good effect. About 90% strength and 10 to 20 will probably work. The windows are transmapped to be transparent. You can download my "Domes and Flats" for flats to put into the buildings to make floors and ceilings. You can furnish them fairly well with furniture from my "Four Corners" and Wizard packs. Of course there is lots of other free stuff available. If your prison needs chains, shack

Haven't gotten a chance to use your Hex objects, but I think it is a very good idea of yours (not just for line of sight as you mentioned, but also provides the possibility of a very alien design of architecture that is not based on the standard human four sided mentality of squares).
