Part 3 of the tutorial on Poser Dependent Parameters is about Synchronous Dependencies. Gears rotation, multipart deformations and compound motions are used to illustrate synchronous rotation. Path design is the basis to explain synchronous translation. The examples to support the study of synchronous rotation-translation are rolling wheel motions, rocking chair setting and change of axis location for vehicle displacement. Synchronous scaling is described with the cases of ball deformation and scalable ruler. Lastly, synchronous morphing is demonstrated with Joint Control Morphs (JCM) at the elbow.
All examples listed above are components of 10 Poser scene files included with the tutorial. Moreover, an Excel spreadsheet was part of the package to help with the design of synchronous dependencies presented in the tutorial.
Work with Poser 8 and above versions
