Hello, out there!^^
I thank you for your interest and taking the time to cast your eyes over my gallery pictures here on Renderosity.
I'm a hobbyist ..*emm*.. 'audio & visual media' .. enthusiast and use currently primarilly Blender3D (Cycles & Indigo), Sculptris, Chaotica, fr0st, Photography and the Affinty 'Suite' for the 'visual' part of my work. In the past I also used Cinema 4D, DAZ|Studio, Poser, Terragen, Apophysis, JWildfire .. and many, maaany years ago Carrara Studio and Vue d'Esprit as well.
In particular, I have a faible for lights & shadows, beautiful colors and unusual visual styles, that stand a bit (or a bit more;) outside the common-seen mainstream. So I mostly enjoy working on lighting, shading or camera- and visual ('special') effects.

flat (-but-full-) moon prop (.pp2 /.obj)
~ (as like as it really! is ..;) ~
.. I made, because spherical moons imo often appear too ..*emm*.. yeah, spherical ^^ .. and planes don't allow edge-blend-/rim-transitions or -effects.
Two prop-versions are included: one with and one without (_nbf) faces on the backside (to reduce polycount and/or - in case of emissive shading - unnecessary 'rayshots'). Both have plain UV-coords for easy texturing; one Lo-Rez texture (RGB + Greyscale 512x512 Pixels) is included (rendered in JWildfire 4.10) but come by default just with simple materials.
Update: UV-corrected .pp2 /.obj -files included
notes:
~ select the prop and use "point at.." > [your RenderCam] to align the frontside of this moon always to your camera.
~ If you need the whole thing smoother (or smoother rim-transitions), apply one level Sub-Div; polycount kept low enough to allow that.
Use it as you wish.
promo-render-trees are NOT included!
~Thanx for your interest! =)
