Here are two scripts I have just finished, naturally just after they would have been useful, to deal with getting ancient Victoria 3 poses onto Genesis 8 Female.
Script 1 is if you apply a V3 pose to G8F. Some data is lost due to different bones being present in these figures that are 5 generations apart. This script corrects the G8F figure as much as possible. You will need to apply appropriate twists to the arms and legs to correct the pose after the script runs.
Script 2 is hugely longer, but gives much better output. You need a V3 character, apply the V3 pose, load in a G8F and run the script. Due to the low state of my knowledge, you will need to select the hip bone of each figure from the appropriate drop down node selection combo boxes. Then press the 'Accept' button. Then the pose will be transferred to the G8F figure. You will probably need to do some tweaks, as you would applying a base G8F pose to a G8F character.
Hope it's useful to someone.
Regards,
Richard.

Cool! Nothing like leveraging content you already own.

While I don't use Victoria 4 at all, I have a couple of V4 characters, and it looks like the second script above could be adapted to work with V4 moderately easily. There are 2100 lines to the script that would all have to be checked and modified slightly, but it's possible. If someone thinks it would be useful, please say so & I'll start the script editing. It might take a week or so to do, but it should work. V3 is less like G8F than V4 in its bones - V3 has Right&Left Buttock bones that neither V4 nor G8F have, and trying to get them to fit G8F is probably the biggest source of error likely in the conversion between V3 & G8F. I have noticed that V3 and G8F do not entirely agree on the size of a degree on some bones. The forearm is one. A 99 degree bend on the V3 forearm seems to change the forearm though the same angle as a 90 degree bend on G8F. I may need to check V4 bones for this too. Regards, Richard
