These freebies are two decorative glasses inspired by a glass my wife and I bought in Bergen in Norway during the early 1990's. We particularly love the coloured glass spirals within the stem of the glass and the flare in the bowl of the glass on the right.
The glasses are reminiscent of 18th Century English bumpers, but I have no idea where the maker's inspiration came from.
Please note that the glasses are almost impossible to see in Filament preview, and not too easy to see in texture preview mode.

They should.. I have recently written a de-triangulate method for my modeller. I model in SolidWorks, export .stl format, convert to obj, de-triangulate where possible, then apply material zones and finally import the obj into DS. In the case of the spiral stem glass, I modelled the spiral separately, then merged the model with the glass before importing into DS.

So pretty !! They port well to OBJ+MTL as neat meshes with nice texture zones.

Thanks. Do really like the original, and seeing these models will remind me of the glass every time I see them.
