I would like to offer this fountain pen freebie for your delectation. It is a model of my favourite type of pen, the hooded nib pen.
This type of pen was invented by Parker Pens in 1941 to prevent their new Superchrome ink from clogging pens because it dried so fast. The pen was such a success that they sold millions, and almost every other manufacturer had to make clones too. Even though Parker stopped making the original Parker 51 in 1973, excellent hooded nib pens are still in production, currently by Chinese manufacturers.
This freebie is, like all the physical clones, very similar to, but not exactly the same as, the Parker 51. I offer 14 body colour variations, 3 cap versions, 4 wearable presets for G8F including hand poses, 2 scene subsets and two props . There is an obj file of the cap and body for other software packages.
I really hope you will like the model as much as I like using the real thing.

Timeless Classics.. Yes, that is the perfect name for them. They don't look dated now, and didn't when first made. Regards, Richard.

It's not easy to pose the hand to grip the pen, I admit, which is why I added the hierarchical pose presets. Additional pen related poses can be found with this freebie: (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/90613/g8f-fountain-pen-poses)

My pleasure. Must admit I was a bit nervous about starting this model. The Parker 51 is a truly remarkable pen, and I wanted the shape to look right. Fortunately, I always have either a modern clone or a 60yo original on me at all times that I could measure as needed.
