A .pdf tutorial of how to fix .obj files exported from Marvelous Designer for use in Daz Studio.
Model being used with the kind permission of Matkarimov Davran {David} is in his shop over at ArtStation. Details are in the tutorial.
Programs used: Daz Studio 4.16.03 and Hexagon {of course!} and PaintShop Pro.
One can use any of the recent editions of D/S, Hexagon or another modeler, and of course any image editor they want to, and certainly either this or any of the other free M.D. .obj files one might have. Mileage will vary though as each clothing piece tends to have its own challenges ;-)
IF one has M.D. then one normally receives a program project file so these people can export out the clothing item as "thin, welded, no stitches" and not have to do all this. Most welcome to download the tutorial still.
