Product Notes

Genesis 1/2/3/9 pose preset conversion script for Genesis 8.
This script converts .DUF pose presets (including presets with multiple frames) from multiple figure generations to Genesis 8.
Select a Genesis 8 figure, select a pose preset in the Content Library or Smart Content and run the script.

For a more detailed description on how to use it, see the readme file included in the archive.

- 2022-12-07: Fixed an issue that caused animation presets to be slowed down
- 2023-04-29: Restore instead of zero figure pose when holding Ctrl/Command, Fixed hierarchical preset loading, Fixed crash if the smart content pane plugin is disabled

I love this script so much, it works so well, better and faster to use than any other pose converters I have. I can finally use all my poses that I have acquired over the years for my G8 characters. (And If you ever decide to create a "Genesis 1/2/3/9 pose converter for Genesis 2" I would love that as well!) Granted I realize G2F and G2M are pretty old, but surprisingly I still use them a lot as background characters. In any case, thank you so much for these wonderful pose converters.

This is no doubt a great asset but I am having trouble getting it to work. The installation readme says "2. Go to the script in the Content Library (Scripts > n_alexandru > G8 Pose Converter), right click and select Create Custom Action and click OK." When I right click on the G8 Pose Converter.dsa file, Create Custom Action is not one of the options. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, I have the exact same issue with this Script as the one for G9 figures. I have been trying to get this to work following the supplied notes in the text file. Installed script. Select G8 figure, select pose from G2 or G3, click run script and get a pop up stating file not found. Same result every time. Any suggestions are very welcome. DAZ Studio 4.21 Pro on a Mac.
