The Valiant Tunic, Tabard, etc knight set is one of my oldest purchases, going back even to the Poser 7 days. It still works well with 12. The only thing is that although the textures were "OK" back in the day, people want more now.
Well now you'll have more.
A large texture expansion for this venerable set allows you to get a wide variety of looks out of your valiant set, more than can be outlined here. Poser Material Room files let you quickly switch as needed - Experiment!
You also get 3 buildable characters with props (Poser props plus OBJ versions)
Stand-alone or mix-n-match with other dark ages or medieval clothes, maybe throw in my Savage Splendor series props for spice (also available in freestuff), you'll have fantasy soldiers, guards, and heroes for days.

Oh good....this just dropped. You'll need the Valiant M4 set, naturally. My recommendations in addition to this are: 1. Savage Splendor 1 & 3, by yours truly, freestuff. This will give you a ton of new headgear and some interesting new props 2. Onan the Barbarian outfit by Cybertenko and Greek Hero sets by same. 3. If you're doing a "fantasy movie snake cult" look for my snake cult hood in freestuff 4. Mortem Vetus' Ragnarok Viking Clothing set. Characters by Mortem Vetus and Cybertenko are excellent. StudioArtVartanian (aka SAV) is also an excellent one to check out, as are Phoenix1966 and vhyktohria. They all make detailed, masculine men for M4 and their characters are high quality. Mix and Match the other clothing pieces with Valiant and this set. That should give you such a huge combination of options that you'll have fantasy male characters, guards, warriors, heroes until you get sick and tired of fantasy, which given what I've seen from you all, will be a long time coming.
