To make these effects you need Flamepainter, a wonderful software, but it's not freeware...

Thank you. I wish I knew how to make these sorts of images, because on transparent pngs, I think they may work as special effects, if I'm understanding the sort I've seen in images. These will be nice, though, for simple backgrounds to basic scenes perhaps, with single objects posed, with interesting lighting, etc.
