I live in a forest. Sometimes there are dead trees, or ones creating a hazard. Pruning most of those out helps the forest as a whole to be more healthy. There are also tons of dropped branches and fallen trees. So, we have firewood....

Nice spot to pose a squirrel to eat a cone. Or fairies. Or that lost small alien. Or maybe you'll think of something else.

Wood shown include Western Red Cedar, and Broadleaf Maple. There's a couple that are too deteriorated for me to identify.
