I posted freebies through the winter, hope you liked them, I also attempted using DazStudio. Big thanks to everyone who helped me to understand how it works. I gave up, not because I found a lot of problems, I enjoyed using it. But since I'd used Poser for almost twenty years I found I couldn't get my work flow going. I'm too used to using Python scripts. Think I'll get a dinosaur as my avatar. So I guess that's all folks until next winter!

I think that parenting a prop to the default position of the M4 or V4 hand is 'difficult'.So.. I made two poses that both figures can use, the pose makes the palm of the hand flat against the Y axis and the z axis. It rotates the hand so the centre of the palm where the fingers begin to bend is on the vertical axis. There is a UV type guide to put on the 'hand' mat zone for you to line your prop to. I've not seen this idea anywhere before. There is a 'toolbox' that explains how I made the pose. You need to know a little bit about parenting props or my explanation would turn into a month's reading. I use mainly M4 and V4 but the explanation of how to do this will work on most figures with opening hands. This 'pose' idea works on almost any prop that has to be parented to the figure's hand, left or right.
I tested it in Poser, not Daz.
