This photo is from our 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii (Kauai) in January. I live in Colorado, so this was a nice place to visit in winter!
I enjoy sharing my photos with the Renderosity community and I'm thankful for the comments from such talented artists! BTW - I also understand some French and Spanish, and welcome comments in those languages as well as English.
BIOI've been interested in photography since taking a class in the 4th grade. My camera broke a few years ago, so I hadn't done much since then. My husband got a new compact digital camera in December, so I've begun taking photos again. My daughter, chicajm, introduced me to this site.
I started my own company in May 2005 - No Small Dreams Productions. We make family-friendly student films. My daughter produces the films and I manage the business, do the catering and make the costumes. We just produced our first film together called "What Are The Odds?", a comedy about high school life and homecoming. You can see the trailer on our website at www.nosmalldreamsproductions.com.

oh...i'm sorry for poor Sparky! :( i hope he's not in too much pain. i live in Ky. now. lived in Ind. most of my life. yep...i've heard that saying. well, in the country there's a lot of work to be done...better take advantage of the light. between takin' care of the hay, the garden, mowing, tending to the animals, household chores, ya know...well, by the time the sun goes down, sure does feel good just to sit on your front porch on a rocker with a nice cold glass of lemonade. hopefully you won't have to shuck beans!!! :) i enjoy your image!! thanks!

It's not just a midwestern expression, lol, we know it well in the South as well (though I guess I technically live in the midwest now, being in Louisville). :-D I second everything tvernuccio said lol, since we're pretty much from the same background. :-D Gorgeous image, and it definitely hits close to home for me! Hope you'll enjoy the images that I plan on posting in the fall when the tobacco harvest comes around. That's a huge thing here in KY.
