Description

It's too damn hot! Last of 3 What do you do when you leave the office and it's 102 degrees outside? If you are like me, chase a few bugs and notice how bad the deck is starting to look and mess with the cat. I really do love our cat. I'm thankful for the mice she eliminates and the interesting variety of rodents she has introduced to us in her unique way of delivering them inside the house during dinner and then letting them go free. Yah, great cat. Samantha has been with us for 8 years now. In winter she is fat, shiny, clean and loving. In summer she turns into the great hunter of the sage, gets all homeless looking and has quite an attitude as you can see here. Thanks for visiting, advice always welcome and have a cool evening~ J

Great capture of "catish" emotion - our tomcat looks the same at the moment (34 C here). Most of the day he snoozes at the balcony and when his mood has become bad enough due to the heat he slowly walks into the living room and scares one of his sisters stiff - and then he walks out again (and I swear there's an impish grin on his little face).

Gorgeous kitty! :-) I know exactly what you mean about that summer mood, my cat does the same thing. In winter she likes to curl up under the covers with me at bedtime, and in summer she likes to hide behind the couch and viciously attack any feet that happen to pass. :-D Wonderful capture!

They are all the same! The reason why she brings rodents to you is simple. She knows that you are unable to catch them by yourself! Of course, she never saw you capturing one of them! So she has to bring them to show you how to do! That's a kind of lesson she gives you... Only because she loves you. You have to make the effort to catch one of those preys, one of these days. Take a plate or anything and show her that you are able to catch them! I had to do this one night! If she sees you doing this, she won't insist any more...! Have a good day/night...
