Description

When I first modeled HexaBot, in my new 3D modeler Hexagon, I tried many different textures before arriving at the metalic blue. Here are some of the many variations I tried out. I liked the clear plastic look a lot, but it looked too much like a toy. But if he ever was a toy, it would look pretty cool! Thanks guy's, I'm just trying to show some of the creative process. People see the finished product, and often don't realize how much thought went into it. I tried many versions before I found the color scheme I thought "Fit" my little bot. Thanks for looking & commenting!

You know what? If you made them out of plastic you'd sell a million. Seriously. Look at Lego and their Bionicles. My son would be at the store begging for all of them. btw, my favorite is the translucent blue one on the bottom left. ;-)

Wonderful insight of your creative thinking...! and you are right..we only see the finished ones..not the ones we did not like...not the ones we were bored with...not the ones that would take weeks to render (i'm very impatient).. wonderful model you've made here..! I like the yellow...the red...and the blue ones best....

Very cool! They all look good but I like the translucent blue one and green one in the upper right. I agree with Ethesis you need to start a story with this.
