Description

Here's an interesting shot...it's not the best focus but I'll explain why. I have been trying to "catch" this little guy for weeks and have found him to be a problem. Extremely timid I found out he hears everything and flees at the slightest noise. In order to get this shot I had to turn off the camera sound effects, and then pre-focus on the feeder and wait. The little devil can here the lens focus mechanism if I try to focus so you just need to let him enter a shot and take it. It may not look like much but it took 2 hours to get this shot. BTW this is an "Indigo Bunting".

Thats what my "birding" friends have told me, called me lucky because he drops by every evening just before dusk.

I saw one of these a couple of times last winter. I uploaded a Painted Bunting a few days ago...I found them equally difficult to photograph.

I have one shot of a female, she's even worse than the male.
