Description

Hi all! This is the ruins of the once magnificent Castle Kildrummy in Scotland. It was absolutely pouring when I took this shot.Sadly most of the pics from that day aren't salvageable.Luckily this one managed to be spot-free. Sorry Pascale and those of you who are annoyed by scrolling.I just couldn't help myself with this one.I just love the way it looks at this size. Hope y'all like it and not mind this little self-indulgence on my part.Have a great one!-Marlene :)

Oooh. I love castles. Excellent shot and I just love that misty/rainy atmo. Beautiful shot! I have the opposite problem as you. I was at the most gorgeous waterfall yesterday, something you see in the movies but because the sun was sooo bright, none of the shots seem like they're worth posting. I may be able to salvage something yet..

My eyes went immediately to the various textures in the trees. The varied shades of green in conjunction with the ruins makes for a powerful image. You are a superb photographer.

I love scrolling down great big pictures. You really have captured Scotland in this shot. Maybe you just were not there the three days that it doesn't rain?
